What is FitShyft?
FitShyft is a virtual fitness program program that combines personal training, Zumba and Pilates into a fitness routine women can keep with. Members work out one-on-one with a personal trainer for 30 minutes over Zoom throughout the week and have access to live Zumba and Pilates classes for additional workouts between personal training sessions.
Which days and times are personal training sessions available?
Personal training sessions are available seven days a week. During sign-up, we'll match you with a trainer whose availability fits your schedule. Once you're matched, you'll work with the same trainer each week at a recurring day and time that works for both of you.
When will my sessions start?
Your first session will typically be scheduled within a few days of signing up. Once you're matched with a trainer, you'll receive your recurring session schedule and can begin working toward your fitness goals.
What equipment do I need for sessions?
You only need a stable internet connection, a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, and enough space to move safely. We recommend having an exercise mat and a pair of dumbbells to get started, but your trainer will design workouts around the equipment you already have— whether that's dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, a medicine ball, or just your body weight.
Are sessions live or pre-recorded?
Yes. Every personal training session is conducted live over Zoom with your own trainer, who provides real-time coaching, feedback, motivation, and exercise modifications throughout your workout.
Can I try a session before I purchase a membership?
Yes! Sign up for our FitLite membership and enjoy two free personal training sessions, plus 10 days of unlimited live Zumba and Pilates classes. If you decide FitShyft is not the right fit, simply cancel before your third session and you won't be charged.
Can I choose or change my trainer?
During sign-up, we'll match you with a trainer based on your goals, fitness level, schedule, and preferences, including your preference for a male or female trainer. If you'd like to change trainers at any time, simply contact us and we'll assign you to another trainer.
I don't want personal training. Can I join just the classes?
Absolutely! Our FitPass Membership is designed for members who only want access to our live Zumba and Pilates classes. Join as many scheduled classes as you'd like each month.
What if I need to miss a session?
If you’re unable to attend a session, please notify us as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to reschedule based on availability.
Are the Zumba and Pilates classes live?
Yes. All Zumba and Pilates classes are taught live over Zoom. You can join from anywhere or work out to the recording later if you can't attend live.
How long are the workouts?
Personal training sessions, Zumba, and Pilates classes are all 30 minutes, making them easy to fit into a busy schedule.
What if I have an injury?
Your safety is our priority. Before you begin, we'll ask about any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations. Your trainer will modify exercises to match your needs and fitness level so you can work out safely and confidently. If you're recovering from an injury or have a medical condition, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before starting any exercise program.
What if I miss a class?
No problem. All Zumba and Pilates classes are recorded and uploaded later that day, so you can work out to the recording whenever it's convenient.
Do memberships renew automatically?
Yes. Memberships renew monthly until canceled. You can manage your membership in your FitShyft account at any time.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my membership?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your membership anytime through your FitShyft account. If you need assistance, our team is happy to help. Just contact us.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. FitShyft does not store your card information.
